ls_radio.JPG (34830 bytes) Model AN/GRC-9 HF transceiver in an M38A1.  The whole set with power supply, antennas, accessories is the VRC-34.  The AN/GRC-9 is nearly identical to the WW2 BC-1306.  All accessories were interchangeable.  The "Angry Nine" was a Korean War ear piece of equipment that was copied by various European manufacturers and used by NATO countries into the 1970's.  (Submitted by Don Carlton)
